- This was my father's sister, my Aunt Juliette. I always felt very close to my Aunt Juliette since I was the only one who accompanied my father when he went to visit her; I remember when she had her stroke which left her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life & unable to talk but she could still say 'You, you, you, you, you, ...' when she wanted your attention & she could write notes to get her point across.

- Juliette's parents had moved from Fort Kent, ME to Berlin, NH in the mid-1920's, Juliette became pregnant in Feb. 1929 & according to her sister, Jerrie, the father's name was Jean Baptiste Gilbert who I found in the 1930 Census living in Berlin, NH with his parents. Juliette moved to CT with her parents (she was only 14 yrs. old) & when the baby was born her parents raised it as their child. His name was Richard (Jean) Lozier & we called him Bijou; I did not know my Uncle Bijou was my cousin until he died in 1995.
