This is a painting that my father-in-law had, I got it when his son & I were divorced; he had said that he got it from a Yale student in the 1950's when he owned a bar & grille down at Savin Rock, West Haven, CT. I always called it 'my grandpere'. |

After visiting Woodland, ME & being told by the town hall that my great-uncles, William & Arthur McGough, lived up a country road now called 'Gough Rd' just next to the town hall but there was nothing left up there but footings for where the house was, I believed that this painting was done by my Uncle Rocky when he was up there visiting on his many trips to ME. |
