- Got a copy of the obituary & funeral notice for John L. Severn, retired policeman who died Tues (22 Mar 1955) in Doctor's Hospital; he was 72, survived by a son George (from his 1st marriage).
Note: John married Catherine Burke in 1907 in New Jersey & they had George in 1909; I'm still trying to find his marriage to Emily Ball between then & the 1920 census.
Funeral notice said John L. Severn died Mar 22, 1955 husband of the late Emily Severn (nee Ball); funeral Sat. (26th)
