  	Found this date in an excerpt from an article in the French-Canadian Genealogy Society of CT the CT. Maple Leaf Winter 2016 pg. 179, name of article 'Scourge of Smallpox in New France 1639-40; it says Guillaume Hebert died on Sept. 23, 1639; ther is no burial record in the church archives but the date of death if given on a document of the Notary Piraube dated Oct 21, 1639 which provided for guardianship of his young children; it also assumed that he died of the smallpox since he lived close to the hospital in Quebec that was housing all the smallpox patients & he may have been helping his friend Robert Giffard who was the surgeon caring for the patients in the hospital.
