Headstone of William Pelletier & wife Modeste (Daigle) Notes - I cannot find Vital or Euphemie or any of their unmarried children on the 1920 census; have gone through all pages of the 1920 census for New Canada/Daigle which is where they lived; the only child I can find is Jeannette/Jane who married Camille Michaud in 1915, the others were not married yet & should have been living home: William b. 1893, David b. 1895, Laura b. 1898, Elise b. 1900 & Ludger b. 1902; William's WWI registration card showed he was living in Daigle, ME working for his father in 1917; Laura married on 30 Jun 1920 in Daigle, Elise married on 23 Oct 1923 in Daigle, William married in 1924 in Daigle, Vital died on 12 Oct 1925 in New Canada/Daigle. I believe this family was somehow skipped during the taking of the census in Jan 1920.
