    Notes
    • In the book 'Dictionnaire Genealogique de Madawaska' at the French-Canadian Genealogy Society in Tolland, CT on pg. 212 it shows Levesque Jos fils de Louis & Ozithee Olive Fournier marrying Pelletier, Eleonore in Frenchville on 21-09- 1875 (his parents are hand-written in as Louis & Ozithee Olive Fournier).
In the book 'Mariages de Frenchville, Maine (Sainte-Luce) 1843-1970' by Leon Guimond on pg. 52 shows the same entry as that in the DGM above. I met Leon Guimond this summer in his home in Frenchville & asked him were he got that piece of information & he said he got it from the church records in New Brunswick. He had a card file on Joseph which showed his parents as Louis & Ozithee Olive Fournier married on Jul 31, 1849 in St. Basile, NB. (no birth date for Joseph was on the card).
On the Voskuhl CD , pg. 1258 is Levesque, Joseph fils de Louis et Ozithee Olive Fourneir & Pelletier, Eleonore.. maries a Ste Luce Frenchville, ME 1875-09-21.
