Called the ME state archives & they said all their copies & microfilms were sent to the Vital Records office.
Called the town hall of Fort Kent, ME & they sent me a strip of the record for Elise's Birth for Aug 7, 1917; I asked her to send a copy to the State Vit. Recs & would request the copy from them; waited 5 months & ordered a copy from the ME vital records; rec'd the Record of a Live Birth for Elise Bernadette Lausier in Fort Kent, ME on 8/8/1917 to Robert Lausier & Maggie Boutott.

Found a better copy on Ancestry, & it is listed on the DHHS website for deaths.
