  Married: Found a copy of the Record of a Marriage for Alexis Lausier & Julie Dionne for Nov 27, 1894 in Grand Isle, ME; this record was very hard to read so I used other resources to fill-in the hard to read information*; he was 20 yrs. old born in Madawaska to Damase Lausier & Catherine Beaulieu; she was 18 yrs. old born in Frenchville to Joseph Dionne & Lucie Dube. Note:* the CD of marriages from Chad Pelletier confirms the marriage but shows his mother as Marguerite Bellefleur?? don't know where that came from; Alexis' birth record in 1874 shows Damase & Catherine Beaulieu; the CD also shows they were married in Notre Dame Mont Carmel, Lille, ME. Found a church marriage record for Damase Lozier & Margeretta Bellefleur for 1894 Nov 26th in Ste. Luce Church, Frenchville, ME, this was the day before Alexis' marriage, CD of marriages showed Damase's parents were Damas Lausier & Catherine Beaulieu, they had no son 'Damas' that I'm aware of, could this have been Alexis' father Damase marrying a 2nd time?? record tells me nothing.
